My new book Embody is hot-off-the-press and I want to celebrate with you. 

Embody is a poetic, lush and evocative tribute to the female body and nuanced essence. In fine art photos and prose, the book gives a rare peek into my intimate photographic work with women of all ages during the past fourteen years. Nearly a thousand Danish and American women have undressed before my camera to explore the many expressions of beauty, sensuality and eroticism in themselves - on their own terms.

Most photography of women has been dominated by the male gaze. In Embody we get to experience which gazes and images emerge when women choose to be photographed, by a woman, and are free to decide how they wish to be seen. 

Kvindemuseet in Aarhus, Denmark hosts the festivities.
