Lone Mørch is a Danish photographer, author, and creative facilitator whose work moves at the intersection of art, body, ecology, feminism and cultural transformation - where the personal becomes political and the poetic a necessity. With more than three decades of international experience across Europe, Asia, and the United States, she brings a rare depth of lived insight into how personal lives, collective narratives, and power structures shape one another.

Her practice blends photography, writing, storytelling, and facilitated inquiry with a strong focus on thresholds—the in‑between spaces where identity loosens, old stories unravel, and new ways of seeing can emerge. Lone’s photography studio in San Francisco supported over a thousand women and a few brave men in reclaiming their stories through intimate portraiture, experiences that still reverberates through her work today and is gathered in her book EMBODY. She is also the author of Seeing Red: A Woman’s Quest for Truth, Power and the Sacred and her TEDx talk The Power of the Gaze introduced her work to a global audience. She has exhibited in San Francisco, Switzerland and Denmark, been featured in many international magazines, newspapers and blogs, such as InStyle, Cosmopolitan, San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post, People’s Magazine, Femina, Søndag, NOVA, BT Weekend, Frøkjær og Forfatterne, Flaskens Ånd, Aarhus Stiftiende, Jyllandsposten, m.fl.

She currently lives in Troense in the Southern Archipelago of Denmark, and her work focuses on projects and offerings that invite narrative repair and “rewilding” of ourselves and our relationships with the living world.
