Where it all started … In 2004 I opened Lolo’s Boudoir studio for women’s photographic self-discovery in the San Francisco Bay Area. Somehow, I hit a nerve in the culture and my women photography practice took off. In those early days it was all analog work and I loved my F2 Nikon and the lightmeter. Gosh, do I miss those days! But, as is said, the rest is history. You can read about those early beginnings here, and enjoy a few intimate shots from those early days. The work, the focus and the process has evolved over the years, but at heart, I still offer portrait work and photographic journeys for women’s (and men’s) self-discovery and narrative repair.
